As it can be inferred from its name, the aim of this experience was to get the knowledge of environment closer to 3rd year of Pre-Primary School, trying to stimulate them with careful and respectful attitudes through refuse recycling and other actions that take a positive effect on our surrounding environment.
At the same time, the knowledge of nature has been combined with the application of New Technologies, using the Interactive Digital Blackboard as a methodological resource; the parent-children teamwork has been also considered. Thus, we found out the process through the recycling bins and green spaces. We learnt the cycle of water in an interactive way by means of Internet; we did the activities of an environmental flip chart on an interactive digital blackboard; we also made compost; we learnt that there are different sorts of cardboard and plastic; we learnt about the toxicity of batteries; we visited a can classification plant; we told some stories and sang typical songs to know how to take care of environment; in general, we did a lot of activities that let us acquire knowledge on Nature and New Technologies at once.
