Creativity is key to the development of new ideas and should be cultivated during youth education. Museums, as spaces that complement formal education, are particularly well-suited to nurturing creativity through educational practices. From the collaboration between universities, secondary education institutions, and museums, the DECHADOS research project emerged, examining school visits to four art and archaeology museums in the Valencian Community. The aim of the study is to identify how youth creativity is stimulated through pedagogical actions in these spaces. The museums analysed are the Mua, Mubav, Mupreva and Marq, using a qualitative methodology based on three categories: welcome, visit and workshop. The results highlight the importance of how visitors are guided, how knowledge is conveyed and how creative processes are activated. The study concludes that the visit + workshop model, structured in two interrelated phases, is essential for enhancing creativity. It also identifies practices that limit this capacity and proposes improvements.
